Adaptive Adventures
Making Dreams Come True’s Adaptive Adventure program offers people with extraabilities the opportunity to participate in Adaptive Sports Programs. Through our connections with adaptive sports programs, MDCT provides a variety of adaptive adventure experiences such as surfing, snow skiing, sail boating, and many more. We took a break from offering this program, but we are ready to get back out there and live the adventure again! See our previous adventures below.
Dreamer Award Winner 2024 Jennifer Bazer
Jennifer was born blind. As a single parent of a teenager and a pre-teen, Jennifer balances her career with a fulfilling personal life. In her free time, she enjoys cooking for loved ones and listening to live music. She is passionate about making a positive impact both in her community and with her family. She has a Bachelor's degree from Winthrop University, and her Masters degree was earned at the University of South Carolina. Jennifer has eight years of experience in workforce development, and one of her greatest joys is helping people with disabilities, find meaningful employment. Making Dreams Come True took Abigail adaptive skiing with Higher Ground Adaptive Sports in Sun Valley Idaho, in the Winter of 2016.
Surf Quest adventure
Making Dreams Come True provided an adaptive surfing adventure with Jessika and Rey Maiz, a beautifully in love adaptive couple, in the summer of 2017, with Surf Quest.
