Out of isolation

As a fellow member of the extra-abled community, I can say insightfully that many of us spend a lot of time alone. Especially after the pandemic when we had to be isolated. And for many of us, we still haven't shaken This off this season of isolation. My encouragement to you is to just simply get out there and do life! Life doesn't happen unless you live it. And, no one is going to forcibly make you leave the house, or go out in public or go meet a friend. You must decide in your own will that you choose to connect even if you don't feel like it. For example, I decided to attend church and join a women's Bible study. No one made me do that, and no one would have come for me if I didn't. But it has pulled me out of a season of isolation. This simple action has allowed me to reconnect. The reason it's so important to get out there and connect is that the more we connect with people the more we connect with our true selves. Because in isolation those parts of us that we love are not witnessed, not by others, and not by ourselves. But as we come out of isolation and we are seen, we then see ourselves more clearly. So what are you waiting for, get out there and connect.
