Gatorland visit and riding the accessible zip line

On Memorial Day I had the fun opportunity to visit my sponsor, Gatorland. My friend Ariel came with me and we had a blast! First we met all the wonderful staff, a group of very positive cool people.  Then Mark Mchugh the President and CEO of Gatorland and Julie Barroes the Director of Marketing gave us a personal and exclusive tour of the amusement park.  We heard stories of each exotic animal and how they came to the park.  The stand out animal for me was the albino Gators, they are pure white with blue eyes.  Then I took 2 thrilling turns riding the accessible zip line. So fun! It's a beautiful thing through the leadership of Mark and his team, they have created an inclusive experience at Gatorland.  The accessible zip line puts extra-abled people in a secure hammock harness that attaches to the same zip line that able bodied customers ride, my friend Ariel rode the zip line with me. I would take a turn and she would ride the zip line after I got to the end. That's what makes this inclusive experience fun, your friends can join you in the experience. The hammock provided comfortable support for me and I felt secure. I highly recommend you check it out!  As if that wasn't thrilling enough, following the zip line experience Ariel and I were given another tour of Gatorland from the Gator Wrasslers Donny and Andrew. We had the chance to "wrassle a gator"  so to speak.  Donny and Andrew taped up an alligator's mouth and had me sit on its back and take a picture.  Kinda scary, but very thrilling.  Next they gave Ariel and I an exclusive viewing of the Florida Panther Lucy.  What a beautiful creature!  For the finally, Donny brought out his petable animals to meet us which included an exotic lizard, a tarantula, and a boa constrictor.   I held all of these animals.  Scary but super cool!!! Next Julie and the marketing staff treated us to lunch. To end our experience Ariel and I went into the petting zoo and fed the cute baby goats. I am so thankful to Mark and the wonderful staff at Gatorland for this fun experience. Go check out this fun amusement park yourself.  Learn more at www.gatorland.com
